Ferdinand was born August 26 1913
Ferdinand worked hard as a child helping his father clear
the land to build their house and grow a vegetable garden.
He left home to start working as a Lumber Jack then as a cook.
He spent winter of 1952 working in the lumber camps and in
the spring of 1953 he accepted a job as manager for the
C.O.O.P in Desaulniers. He worked there seven years and a half .The worse mitake in my life."ferdinand would say"
Ferdinand opened a grocerie store in Desaulniers in 1960. He worked in Timmins at the Sherman Mine from 1968 to
1969.founding member of Catholic farmers Union as well as the caisse populaire in Field. Member of different
francophone organisations.
Ferdinand fought against bill 17 (this bill was to banish french teaching in schools).
He was a member " Pied Noir" defender of the french language.
He passed away august of 1991.
