Dad rests in this wonderful old cemetery that includes many of our nation's great people. The place is full of flowers and century old trees and old stone
buildings. When we enter the place we are already driving peacefully up a narrow asphalted lane surrounded by big
ol trees. As we leave our car we are greeted in one direction by a beautiful stone building that includes the office and a mausoleum. In the other
direction we see this beautiful gazebo and from this place, at the right, we see the second mausoleum where he is resting.
Ubald Eugène Serré..our father, well-loved son, appreciated brother, loved spouse, worshipped father.  He has meant a lot to many of us.

Attentive nurse, passionate athlete, engaged citizen… Many times we witnessed people coming to our door in distress looking for consolation,
compassion and support. Our father never hesitated in providing them with help, support and guidance.

Deacon, volunteer &, social worker… He was a good man; charitable, generous and selfless.  A friend, a guide…a leader!

In conclusion… we ask the Creator for forgiveness. Forgiveness for all of us and for our father for no-one in this world is perfect.
And you his siblings, his friends… Remember our father for his joyfulness and his enthusiasm for life.  And also for all the beautiful things he has
accomplished us during his stay among us.

Amen
Eulogy from his children

Amen.
